"Oh, that old thing?" asks Asmodia again, as though she's forgotten what's on her neck until Daine points it out again. It's not so much that she can't see it, just that she's so used to it being there -- she's had it so long, after all, she hardly notices it, like when you have a scarf you wear every day, or a tattoo you never look at. She brushes it again like she's adjusting the way it hangs (or rather, floats).
