When she shakes her head, Gabriel flips the biscuit over to Sarge instead, smiling when he catches it in his jaws. That gives him an answer then, about just how much Daine is in there. The final biscuit goes to a happy Molly, who gobbles it up, crunching crumbs all over Gabriel.
Since it doesn't seem like Daine is going to run off anytime soon, he lifts up Molly and returns to lying on the bench. Molly lies across his chest and leans forward to lick his nose. He chuckles and pushes her back a bit, sending out a sense of calm. She settles down a little bit and he turns his head to look towards Daine. "I should get another little dog. I had one, before." He knows that it's still gibberish, so it's more saying something to fill the silence, but it doesn't make it untrue.
