Daine steps back into the hall, where it becomes apparent that the problem isn't just with her and Edgar. There are a few other rebels milling about and looking troubled, and she can hear a few brief snatches of gibberish as folk attempt to communicate. Glancing at Edgar, she points to one of the speakers, then points to her own ear and gives a baffled shrug before raising her eyebrows at him. Does it sound like nonsense to him, too?
