Oh, she'll question whether he eats, but not whether he sleeps? Admittedly she may have witnessed him waking up and falling from a tree, so there's that to consider. But again, she does have a point. Even if he isn't exactly normal in his sleeping habits, it's still a thing to think about. And think about it is exactly what he hasn't done; getting the hell out has taken priority.
