Cecil nods and accepts the toast with a raise of his own glass. He doesn't know Ianto quite well enough to pin down the feelings behind his words, but he'd put up good odds that there were less than positive emotions behind that welcome. But then who is really positive about being transported to a new universe against their will? Even Cecil isn't, not entirely. And he is, generally speaking, positive about most things. On that line of slightly melancholy thought, he falls back on routine. You know, asking questions, putting people at ease, interview formats, etc.
