It does make him feel marginally better, though he'd feel better still if she'd turn enough of herself human to talk to him and explain what just happened. It's selfish of him to think so, but right now really isn't a good time for Daine to start going weird in the head. Andrew follows her to the door, asking where she's going and half expecting that she's going to turn into a bird and fly off without so much as a goodbye now that she doesn't have to carry him about. He's pleasantly surprised (and mildly embarrassed) when she picks up the robe he forgot was out there, and he holds the door for her when she comes back in.
