Andrew shrugs on the hoodie, too woozy to argue, and puts one hand on Daine's shoulders as he accepts Edgar's help with the other. He's taller than either of him expects to be, and for a few disconcerting moments it seems to him like the entire world is gigantic and tiny, overwhelmingly close and incredibly far away. Then he carefully steps down onto the next stair, and the world resolves into one experience. It's still like watching from deep inside his head, but his muscles obey when he -- when they -- try to move.
