Seth winces and makes a face when the terrible wind hits them, having to steady himself before able to pull back the string. When Gabriel walks forward, he readies the bow and aims for the closest eye.

He realises quickly that he shouldn't have drawn the arrow back that early, as the effort of holding it makes him jitter enough that when he lets go, the arrow goes too far to the right, hitting the lizard at an angle and glancing off his hide. Or maybe he just didn't want to kill it strong enough, who knows.

Seth lets out a swear and hurries to ready another arrow.
