Johnny sits at the hotel bar slowly nursing a vodka tonic and staring numbly into the distance. Without Seth there to distract him, he's back to worrying about Gabriel, feeling less and less comfortable with the situation the longer he thinks about it. It's been days and no contact. Johnny's prayed to him a few times since the initial discovery, hoping for a change, but still, nothing. The dull ache of sadness is beginning to turn to anxiety. He jiggles his leg nervously and involuntarily.

He sees Seth approaching him out of the corner of his eye, and turns, instantly relieved. He downs the rest of his drink and slides off the stool.

"All refreshed?" he says lightly, endeavoring not to convey the trepidation he'd been feeling.
