"Hi." Peeta steps inside and throws a curious glance around the apartment. It isn't a big space, but it feels enormous compared to his small quarters in the base. It suits Sunshine, too; the sunlight streaming through the windows makes what is essentially one room feel larger.

The space does bear the marks of a thorough cleaning, and Peeta pauses just inside the door. "Do you still want to do this today?" he asks, hand on the strap on his bag, hesitating to put it down just yet. "We can always reschedule."
