Daniel rises as Seth does, albeit with slightly less grace. It takes him longer than it should to locate the exit and start heading for it. The alcohol's made him jittery enough to be unable to hold his hands still; he keeps running his thumb over the knuckles of his fingers as if to reaffirm their existence to himself.
