As Eliot slouches on the couch he manages to tilt enough that his head ends up in Johnny's lap. Drinking is overrated anyway. Sometimes (shh it's okay alcohol, he didn't mean it). This is a much better idea, and one that is less likely to result in him being sick. And Johnny won't die! He doesn't want Johnny to die. So it's a good plan all round.
