Again, the physical contact brings Daniel sharply back to earth (speaking purely figuratively - the work he's used to, it helps to clarify) and he shoots Seth an apologetic look. He seems to be drifting thought-wise quite a bit already, and they've hardly been walking for very long.

"Oh, this is nice." He halts for a minute to study the layout of the Conservatory gardens, pleasantly surprised. "And benches too, look at that."

His comment only receives apparent silence. Daniel glances sharply back over his shoulder. "...Seth?"
