Okay, he's taking this... well? Perhaps. Perhaps not really. It's hard to tell, even with her senses. She tilts her head, pulling her arms around herself a bit unconsciously. She doesn't like being asked her nature - it smacks too familiar of questions she doesn't like, invasive questions about why she is the way she is. But she knows he doesn't mean it like that.
"I'm human," she says hesitantly. "I was brought here a little over a month ago, from a universe quite a bit like this one. There's lots of people who've been brought through, it's been happening for... well, I don't know how long, exactly." She pushes her hands into the pockets of her dress. "I do know that no one's found a way back through it." She tries to deliver this gracefully; she knows this is the most upsetting and potentially difficult to accept of informational morsels she can offer.
