The Balladeer nods and circles around to find a good spot. He has his own private doubts about how well this will work - he can't even get away with telling the truth via hand gestures - but it's worth a shot. If they can get Johnny down, he can just clear out of here and away from everyone else.

He's careful not to nick Johnny as he works the blades into position around one of the thinner vines. In a normal world, it could cut that easily; hopefully starting small will improve their odds of accomplishing something.
