"Uh...huh." He's trying to tell her something, but what she doesn't know. His tone belies his words, not to mention the inherent weirdness of telling her about a lack of danger. He's not making her any less nervous right now; he hasn't made any sense from the moment she met him and being the first person she ran into after apparently being teleported out of her home and robbed of her magic doesn't earn him any points. She's still waiting for some kind of attack, ready to retaliate but not willing to start a fight before it becomes clear what he intends to do.

"This is within the realm of normality for me," she agrees. Why did she just say that? She was trying to point out how not normal all of this is! Her stomach sinks as she remembers what she blurted out before, and she adds in quick succession, "My name is Asmodia. The sky is blue. I've never met you before -- are we in a zone of truth?!"
