"Don't tell her that," hisses Asmodia just as though Daine and the Balladeer aren't standing right in front of her...or as though she believes they won't understand what she's saying. Also, as though anyone knowledgeable wouldn't have already guessed. "And how can a magic user not know what a familiar is?"
