Tara looks up in surprise. The amount of kindness this man is exhibiting is really unexpected, particularly for someone who gets classified in her head as Adult. The only ones who could rival it in her experience would be Giles. And probably Joyce, but Tara never had time to get to know her too closely. (If you went by age, Anya and Spike would also both definitely qualify as adults, but not so much otherwise.)
