He is utterly undaunted by the emergence of a dinosaur from what was a mere bird, familiar enough now with the creature's abilities not to be taken off guard by the transformation.

And yet.

And yet, that is a very large animal. He meets her challenge with one of his own, stepping forward and hurling a handful of flames straight at her open maw. Even as he does it an alternate plan is forming; he likely cannot face this foe directly without being severely injured, but he possesses another trick she hasn't seen yet.
