It's a stretch, and he's not even certain if he's wholly capable of it - he's only just now figured out how to manifest, and maintaining it is proving more and more difficult the longer it goes on. It's not an energy-to-matter interaction or vice versa, more akin to energy-to-energy in bizarre intersection of two elements from separate universes, possibly separate planes. It's worth a try - providing he can remember how to do it at all. Rashad is just so transparently miserable, and even if Daniel's appearance to him was unintentional, it doesn't mean he can't try to make something good come of it.
