"...you're very insightful." He huffs out a laugh, slightly embarrassed by the accurate analysis. It seems like he's not going to be able to hide from Cole anymore than he had the first time they'd met. Cole seems to be responding more to his feelings that anything he actually said. That part he'll have to learn how to work with. "It's not bad, but it's going to take some getting used to."

Gabriel's been around humans for a long time. It feels like communicating in nonhuman ways is always going to feel a little foreign to him.

He does want to ask a few questions about the Fade and Cole becoming more human, but if they're just going to be standing around he'd rather be inside where it's warm. "You want to come up?" He smiles and nods his head towards the front door. "I make some tasty hot chocolate."
