BUNDAY, BUNDAY, BUNDAY!!! [closed]

Daine arrives at the little meadow where Center and East intersect with plenty of time to spare, the better to make sure Yarrow is relaxed and comfortable when Johnny arrives. She's already explained things to the little rabbit - that Johnny's nice, and that he might like to take care of Yarrow from now on - but rabbits are shy, nervy creatures by nature, and she wants him to be comfortable with his surroundings before he has to worry about meeting any new two-leggers.

She's taught him how to wear a harness and walk on a lead, less because he ever needed one with her, and more because she'd been hoping to adopt him out eventually and she figured it would be a plus for any future owner. Now she's lying on the grass, one end of the leash held loosely in her hand while Yarrow lollops around her, alternating between nibbling at bits of greenery and tickling her face with his whiskers.

All the comforts of home [closed]

A taxi (a taxi of all things) pulls to a stop and Gabriel steps out, feeling a little bit of trepidation about really coming back to his building. Staying with the TARDIS while he'd healed had been comforting, but eventually he'd been itching to step back into his own space. Because his wings aren't entirely up to snuff, the TARDIS had convinced him to get here by much slower means of transportation.

He pays the driver, squares his shoulders, and walks to open the front door. Before heading to his apartment, he stops by the second floor. Seth isn't in but Johnny is, so he steadies himself, takes a deep breath, and raps gently on his door. As he waits, he hopes that Johnny will still want to see him. He'd been so kind, so...devastated, in the TARDIS, but things could still change.

Beyond, he can hear Scout barking excitedly and a muffled voice answering. He smiles at the sound, and does his best not to look broken when the door finally opens.
