Gabriel leans in towards his mirror, examining the knot in his tie before he pulls it apart and tries again. The green silk slides over his hands easily and this time, he's satisfied with the result. Next, he pulls on the waistcoat, doing up simple brown buttons one by one. Then the cotton suit jacket (with pocket square), socks, brown wingtips, highly shined. When he's done, he pulls back from the mirror with a sigh and pushes his hair back. It's not as attention grabbing as the outfit that Johnny had put together for him when they'd gone shopping, but hopefully he'll still like it enough.

Johnny has been paying so much attention to him lately and being so selfless in the face of what Gabriel still views as something Johnny shouldn't have to be dealing with. He wants to do something for Johnny, rather than the other way around, so he's wearing a suit and taking him out.

Johnny had said that he'd be back later, but Gabriel doesn't wait for that. He walks down the stairs and knocks softly at the door to Johnny's apartment, pulls his jacket straight, and waits.
